FOKW Articles of Association

New Articles of Association adopted in 2024 accommodate a host of changes unforeseeable in 1979 - the Wood’s ownership by another Council, its engagement of the Greensand Trust, legal and regulatory changes affecting friendly societies, technological developments for communications and organising meetings; and they control our activities now.

Aims and Objectives

Preserving and keeping Knolls Wood open for people to enjoy and as a habitat for wildlife, and use our educational and conservation platform to protect against the loss of nature locally and more widely.

Team Members

Friends on the Committee administer and manage activities, working with the Council and Greensand Trust and their allocated representatives, and any co-opted advisers.

Newsletters

Newsletters used to be printed and delivered across the neighbourhood, until 2019. With an improved content and increased frequency, they are instead made available on the website and on noticeboards in Knolls Wood and promoted on other social media platforms.
