Events Diary 2026/27

We organise regular volunteer action days to help with projects in the Wood and other needs, a Children’s Fun Day in the autumn, public walks and other events from time to time. All are open to the public, not just Friends and their families. Scheduled events can be found in the Events Diary shown below. There is no necessity to attend for the whole session.

Team Members

Friends on the Committee administer and manage activities, working with the Council and Greensand Trust and their allocated representatives, and any co-opted advisers.

Management Plans

These days the Council’s Management Plan for the Wood sets the tone for why and how Knolls Wood will be managed over five-year periods. The Committee contributes to it to set objectives and monitor achievements; and each year, AGM to AGM, establishes its own plan with members’ approval at those meetings.
