FOKW Management Plans

The Council’s Management Plan for the Wood sets the tone for why and how Knolls Wood will be managed over five-year periods. The Committee reviews proposals, and contributes in setting objectives and monitoring achievements. It also each year, AGM to AGM, reports to and establishes its own plan with members’ approval at those meetings.

Aims and Objectives

Preserving and keeping Knolls Wood open for people to enjoy and as a habitat for wildlife, and use our educational and conservation platform to protect against the loss of nature locally and more widely.

Team Members

Friends on the Committee administer and manage activities, working with the Council and Greensand Trust and their allocated representatives, and any co-opted advisers.

Newsletters

Newsletters used to be printed and delivered across the neighbourhood, until 2019. With an improved content and increased frequency, they are instead made available on the website and on noticeboards in Knolls Wood and promoted on other social media platforms.
